Sybilla Francis is an enthusiastic and dedicated family lawyer, first admitted in the United Kingdom in 1996 and more recently in Australia. Until very recently Sybilla was an Accredited Specialist In Family Law in the United Kingdom with a particular speciality of resolution in child matters and domestic abuse.
The accreditation process in Britain is equally as demanding as becoming a specialist accredited by the Queensland Law Society.
Sybilla Francis headed the Family Law practice in her firm in the United Kingdom and was a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel, a panel to which only Accredited Specialists are admitted.
Sybilla’s background in British family law enables her to offer international clients sound advice in both Australian and British jurisdictions.
Her experience in dispute resolution enables her to assist clients in resolving matrimonial issues in a timely and sensitive way. She has a keen appreciation of the stresses involved for parties engaged in the resolution of issues arising as a result of relationship breakdown and her detailed legal knowledge enables her to assist clients to make tactical and strategic decisions in progressing their cases.
Since coming to Australia Sybilla Francis has undertaken further university study at James Cook University graduating from the Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies course and she now enjoys the more relaxed lifestyle of Queensland, embracing life in the tropics and all that it has to offer.
Sybilla Francis is a welcome new face at Hadley Family Law, a boutique Family Law practice which now offers you the benefit of 40 years combined legal experience and expert advice in the field. Sybilla and Suzanne Hadley, the principal, work in a collegiate environment which enables us to provide you with a personal service tailored to your needs.
